Łódzki Dom Kultury włączył się w tegoroczne obchody 40-lecia strajków okupacyjnych łódzkich studentów, których celem było m.in. wprowadzenie autonomii uczelni w sprawach naukowych i dydaktycznych, zniesienie cenzury i przymusu nauczania języka rosyjskiego oraz skrócenie czasu służby wojskowej studentów.
